Meow Wolf announces all 13 of its food vendors for Convergence Station
Ahead of its opening on Sept. 17, Meow Wolf has announced more than a dozen partnering local food vendors for Denver's Convergence Station.
Meow Wolf has announced more than a dozen partnering local food vendors for Denver’s Convergence Station ahead of its opening on Sept. 17.
The interactive art exhibit’s cafe will sell tacos, poke, coffee, desserts and more, with an emphasis on diversity of offerings and local ownership, according to a press release.
“The theme of Convergence Station as an interplanetary melting pot is inspired by the beautifully diverse melding of cultures of Sun Valley, where we’re located,” Brian Loo, Meow Wolf’s senior director of operations development, said in the release. “We called upon local restaurateurs, craft breweries, coffee roasters and bakeries to collaborate on our menu. The results are exponentially tasty with the vast majority of our offerings made right here in Colorado.”
Here are the 13 food and drink brands that will be offered:
Adobo: “Denver Chef Blaine Baggao’s incredible, award-winning Latin-Asian food highlights his Filipino and New Mexican heritage, and combines flavors and traditions of the two cuisines harmoniously.”
Bubby Goober’s Baked Goods: “This wife-and-wife team create one-of-a-kind hand pies, using locally sourced ingredients in their Denver, Colorado kitchen to create an unforgettable dessert experience.”
Combi Taco & Stokes Poke: “Inspired by local traditions from Chef Alejandro Flores-Munoz’s hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico, these fresh and flavorful aguas frescas are created with love and passion, and designed to quench the deepest of thirsts.”
Copper Door Coffee: “The java from Denver’s first 100% female-owned coffee roaster is some of the best
around, and reflects the tradition and craftsmanship practiced around the world for hundreds of years.”
God Save the Cream: “Exceptional flavors of ice cream are churned out in small batches at this Denver-based craft creamery, ensuring the freshest frozen dessert possible; and it is woman-owned!”
Marble Brewery (New Mexico-based): “This premium craft brewer has teamed up with Meow Wolf to create Day Ghost, a Japanese-style rice lager that is crisp, approachable and available exclusively at Meow Wolf locations and Marble Brewery taprooms.”
Miss Peabody’s Southern Tea Cakes: “Denver-born and Louisiana-loved, Pamela Richard shares the traditional flavors of this Southern classic with a twist. Each bite is made from scratch, buttery, tender, chewy deliciousness!”
Odell Brewing Co.: “Not only is The OBC Wine Project’s innovative wine a fresh take on a centuries-old tradition, but this independent brewery-turned-winery also has been giving back to the local community since opening its doors in 1989.”
Osage Cafe: “A social enterprise under the Youth Employment Academy, the Osage Café is both the training ground for young adults interested in a career in the culinary industry and a community space that brings affordable, fresh and healthy food to the Mariposa District.”
Raíces Brewing Company: “Community, culture and cerveza are at the heart of this Latino-owned and operated, Denver-based craft brewery that draws inspiration from Latin American and Caribbean cultures.”
Rocky Mountain Soda Company: “This unique and high-quality soda, made right here in Denver, uses all-natural ingredients like peach, prickly pear and elderberry extracts to create refreshing and delicious locally-crafted beverages.”
Tea.o.graphy: “Founded by Dana Blair, each tea is hand-crafted, organic, fairly traded and single origin. Ingredients and materials are sourced ethically, making your tea experience ever expansive and authentic.”
Upslope Brewing Company: “Made from the freshest snowmelt, the finest hops and the purest passion for living life outdoors, this Colorado-based, Certified B Corporation brews premium craft ales, lagers and hard seltzer.”
Once open, HELLOFOOD will operate from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
