Brentwood fatal shooting victim is identified
The shooting happened on Aug. 24 in an unincorporated part of the city.
A man killed in a shooting last week that also injured two an unincorporated Brentwood home has been identified by authorities.
The triple shooting happened Aug. 24 in the 1200 block of Brentwood Boulevard, about a mile east of Sellers Avenue, and 48-year-old Justin Silva died at the scene, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office. The coroner’s office released Silva’s identity.
The homicide was the second of the year in Brentwood.
Two other people also were at the home with gunshot wounds and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
